Olivia:  The main character.  Olivia is 26, from Wisconsin, and a recent grad school graduate.  She's just gotten a job as a therapist in Colorado at a newer, growing agency.  (Physical description:  Short (5'1"), petite, long blonde hair, brown eyes.  You can also read Brody's description of her here)

Lauren:  Olivia's friend from high school.  The only person Olivia knows when she first moves out to Colorado.  Lauren is 27 and perpetually single. (Physical description:  Average height and build, shoulder-ish length blonde hair, brown eyes)

John:  Olivia's ex.  Not quite ready to let go, even though he still lives in Wisconsin.

Cassie:  Olivia's next door neighbor. (Physical description: Tall, thin, blonde hair, hazel eyes)

Brody:  One of the guys from Lauren's friend group.   He has a bad reputation as a player, a rich retired athlete for a father, and his own branch of his dad's successful PR business.  (Physical description:  About 6' tall, thick dark hair, green eyes, olive skin tone)

Christian and Kendra:  From Lauren's friend group.  Engaged to each other.

Alex:  From Lauren's friend group.  Has a crush on Olivia. (Physical description: Tall, blonde hair, blue eyes)

Savannah:  Savannah has been suffering from unrequited feelings for Brody for several months.  She's not pleased when Olivia moves to town.  (Physical description:  Tall, thin, blonde hair, blue eyes)

Charlotte:  Olivia's coworker that started at the same time as her.

Kinsley:  Brody's friend.  Kinsley lives in Olivia's neighborhood and they belong to the same gym. (Physical description: average height, athletic build, brown hair, blue eyes)

Lynn:  Olivia's best friend in Wisconsin

Amy:  Another of Olivia's friends in Wisconsin

James:  A guy that (literally) ran into Liv at a bar.
